Meet Roni, Part 5!
So, what is new…? Not much to be honest. Work goes on pretty smoothly, I’m starting to get a hang of the things here more and more. On my off days still volunteer in the animal rescue center and go see movies as often as I can and can afford. I’ve been practicing with my camera a bit more and dabbled a little in picture post production as well. It’s a nice hobby to have, but I haven’t been taking as many photos as I would like to have.

I did meet up with some other expats though, which was fun. It was a birthday of this guy I met back in Finland and all of the other people were from his work place. I was the odd one out, which was kind of fun. Most of the people there were a bit surprised that I didn’t have a car and that I used the public transport to move around, as some of them said that it’s too scary. Granted the area they were staying did not have a train station but still I found this a bit weird. I’ve also heard the “horror stories” off what can happen on the trains etc. but I have never felt unsafe in them. What I will say is that they are unreliable as hell though. I think I’ve never actually caught the train that I originally was planning on as it was either delayed or cancelled. So that kind of sucks but hey, life goes on.

That’s about it for now. Like I said, nothing special really has happened this month. Everything just keeps on rolling at a steady pace. I will be writing more about some extreme experiences as soon as I experience them. Until then this is what you’ll get I guess. Sorry..?
Cheers!
