Meet Roni, Part 6!
Hey, just a quick little update. Mostly been working as per normal but I did do something out of the ordinary last week. I went to the Cape Town Fan Con, or “The Comic Con of Cape Town”. If you’re not familiar with that, Comic Con is basically a convention for all “nerd” related stuff such as comic books, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, anime, superheroes, cosplaying, board games etc.
Although I’m a huge fan of all the things mentioned above, this was the first time I’ve ever been to one of these conventions, and I got to say it was a lot of fun! There were a lot of different booths selling all kinds of clothing, posters, accessories, paintings and drawings as well as many international and local comic book artists there to showcase their work and talk about the industry. To me as a so-called nerd, it was very enjoyable and interesting. I did manage to grab (in my opinion) a cool Star Wars shirt, made by an artist from Johannesburg.
That’s it for this time. Like I said other than the Con, I was mostly at work or surfing or watching movies. So ‘till next time and happy Star Wars day! May the 4th be with you!
